CLIENT: Mozilla Firefox
PROJECT ELEMENTS: Design Workshop, User Interviews, Usability Testing
How can we re-design Tabs in the web browser? How do users save, navigate, and work with browser tabs?
The Mozilla Firefox team needed to connect with users to understand and test new features for tabs in the browser. The Firefox team had developed a proof of concept and but wanted to ideate and test solutions with users while learning more about browsing workflows.
In partnership with the Firefox team, we developed a diary study and usability test protocol. We interviewed users in two cities, and observed their behavior over the course of the week. Thus, our findings focused on both in-the-moment behaviors and longer term use.
